Message from the Chair

Thomas Chan                            

Welcome to the Department of Clinical Specialties at NYITCOM. The faculty members in this department range from many primary care specialties, pharmacology, surgical and subspecialty care. Public Health, global studies and clinical as well as medical education research are also cornerstones of this department. It is this diversity as individuals in our department which is our strength as a whole. With our wide range of expertise, we are able to find solutions, innovate and continually improve the educational experience for our students and optimize medical care for our patients. To this end, we seek the advancement of medical knowledge and to provide the finest education possible for our medical students as well as lifelong education of physicians throughout their careers.
