NYIT Announces Fall Cultural Arts Line Up
Old Westbury, N.Y., Aug. 26, 2005: New York Institute of Technology’s (NYIT) Patrons of the Arts is pleased to announce this fall’s cultural arts events at the Old Westbury, N.Y., campus. All programs are offered free to the community. NYIT’s Old Westbury campus is located on Northern Boulevard, one mile east of Glen Cove Road. Cultural Arts Event Schedule
Amigos De La Zarzuela
In honor of Spanish Heritage Month, this concert will highlight well-known zarzuelas (satirical operettas) presented by Amigos de la Zarzuela, featuring famed tenor Angel Luis Feliciano, and renowned conductor and pianist Pablo Zinger.

The Great Sounds of Jazz
Bob Cantwell and his famous quintet, starring Sol Yaged on clarinet, will play Dixieland and swing music from the 1930s and 1940s.
