NYIT Appoints Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations
Old Westbury, N.Y., Dec. 12, 2006: Jeffrey S. Morosoff has been appointed New York Institute of Technology’s (NYIT) director of foundation and corporate relations. He had been NYIT’s director of alumni and government relations for nine years. In his new role, Morosoff will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with foundations and businesses to generate involvement on behalf of the college.
Morosoff, of Massapequa Park, N.Y., is an adjunct professor at the college teaching courses in public relations, radio production and advertising. In addition, he serves as the president of Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, is a part-time radio newscaster at WBZO-FM (B-103), WHLI-AM and WLVG-FM, and is on the board of Long Island Higher Education Communicators, which he co-founded in 1999.
Morosoff earned a Master of Communication Arts in public relations and advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in communication arts from NYIT.
