NYIT Fuels Energy Management Awareness
Old Westbury, N.Y., March 30, 2006: New York Institute of Technology’s (NYIT) School of Engineering and Technology welcomes mechanical engineer C. R. Krishna, Ph.D., on Monday, April 10 to present, “Bio-Fuels Technology,” in which he will discuss the use of fuels, such as ethanol and biodiesel, for heating, transportation and power generation.
Krishna works for Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, N.Y., where he has researched combustion and fuels for more than 25 years. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in Theobald Hall, room 409, on NYIT’s Old Westbury, N.Y., campus, which is located at Northern Boulevard, one mile east of Glen Cove Road.
