NYIT’s de Seversky Center Unveils February Menu and Valentine’s Celebrations
Old Westbury, N.Y., January 17, 2008: In honor of Valentine’s Day, New York Institute of Technology’s (NYIT) de Seversky Center will offer a delicious assortment of lunch specials and culinary events throughout the month of February. Dine in a romantic atmosphere as our impeccable service and historic setting help create an unforgettable memory.
Winter Lunch Specials:
Wednesdays and Thursdays
Enjoy a complete three-course lunch, including appetizer, choice of entrée, dessert, and coffee service for just $16.
Fridays
A delicious buffet includes a chef’s special action station, salads and appetizers, hot chafing selections, carving station, dessert, and coffee service for just $16.
Prices do not include beverages, tax, and gratuities. Lunch reservations are taken for seatings from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Moonlight and Magic Gala to benefit A Small Company in America (A Professional Theatre-in-Residence at NYIT)
This special Valentine’s Day preview includes a presentation of song, verse, and humor along with a classical music performance by Long Island piano duo Yelana and Vladimir Polezhayev.
Buffet dinner and dessert, Tarot card readings, and raffle prizes will add to what promises to be a fun-filled evening.

Backward Epicurean Wine Dinner
Executive Chef Richard Lanza has created a special four-course menu that begins with dessert and will finish with an appetizer. This unique menu will be paired with wonderful wines from around the world.

This tantalizing brunch includes fresh baked croissants, muffins, bagels and breakfast breads, delicious hot and cold selections, an omelet station, a carving station, a dessert station, and coffee service.
$29 per person plus tax, service, and beverages.
Reservations taken for seating between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 14
Valentine’s Day Buffet Luncheon
A delicious lunch buffet includes a chef’s special action station, shrimp cocktail, salads and appetizers, hot chafing selections, a carving station, dessert, and coffee service.
$19 per person plus tax, service, and beverages.

Valentine’s Prime Rib Buffet Dinner
Fresh carved prime rib, mashed potato bar, hot buffet and cold salad display, and a dessert station offer a delightful feast.
