Design NYIT's First Snapchat Geofilter

Compete for a chance to win $350 in cash and prizes to create NYIT's first Snapchat Geofilters for the Old Westbury and Manhattan campuses.

Geofilters are location-based overlays that users apply to their snaps. Now Snapchat enthusiasts, artists and designers around the world can design their own fun and creative Geofilter artwork. Your submission should be relevant to NYIT and may include its history, mascot, and/or mission.
Submission Tips
- One submission per student per location.
- Provide a good description.
- Files should have a width of 1080 pixels and a height of 1920 pixels.
- Leave a buffer zone of 149 pixels on the top and the bottom of the phone screen.
- Files should be under 300 KB (for PNGs).
Graphics
- All graphics must be 100 percent original.
- Be creative and make your Geofilter visually compelling.
- Don't cover up too much of the screen.
- Make sure it's relevant to the location and something that people will want to use.
Snapchat is not a contest sponsor and has not promised to create the geofilters.
