[1] Students are required to meet the current nursing requirements irrespective of the date of admission into the nursing program. Students must achieve and maintain a CGPA of 2.75 or better, and a minimum grade of C+ or better in all nursing courses and identified prerequisite courses. Higher grades are required to succeed in the Nursing Major. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) are all courses that require a C+ or better. The first 3 semesters of the nursing program are all identified prerequisite courses. Additional information can be found by visiting the Nursing Website at www.nyit.edu/nursing.
