Workforce Advancement through Geriatric Education (WAGE)

All participants are awarded the Geriatric "WAGE" Certificate at the completion of the 20 hour core course.

Registered Nurses may continue to the advanced course for an additional 20 hours of onsite and online course work. RN’s may be eligible to take the ANCC Gerontological Nursing Certification Exam at the conclusion of the program.

  • Building Cognitive Bridges
  • Ethics, Legal Nursing Issue of Aging

RN's Advanced Course
April 6 & 13
9 a.m.- 4 p.m. (On-site) + 4 hours online
(Must have completed Core Corse)

  • Physical Assessment and Chronicity in the Older adult
  • Geriatric Pharmacokinetics
  • Elder Policy and Professional Practice Issues
