Responsibilities

NYIT's School of Health Professions seeks an Assistant Professor for its Physician Assistant Studies program, at the Old Westbury campus, to teach a broad selection of classes as well as participate in advisement, curriculum refinements, national accreditation preparation, college service, and committee work.

Qualifications

Ph.D. from an accredited Physicians Assistant Program with a Master's degree in a relevant area, licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State, Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants as well as two years of teaching and clinical experience are required.
