Twenty-seven bachelor’s and 10 master’s degree recipients were recognized for completing their degrees. They are now linked to nearly 100,000 NYIT alumni around the world. NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., and NYIT Board Chairperson Linda Davila greeted and addressed graduates and their families. NYIT Vice President for Enrollment Management Ronald Maggiore, Ph.D., NYIT Abu Dhabi Campus Dean Garon Wheeler, Ph.D., and AmCham Abu Dhabi Chairman Matthew E. Byrd also participated in the graduation ceremony. President Guiliano conferred the degrees, which are recognized in both the U.A.E. and the U.S. Seven students earned Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degrees in Interior Design; 20 received Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration; and 10 earned the Master’s of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. One graduate earned a B.F.A. in Communication Arts; Fatima Ahmed Alkhars studied at NYIT-Manhattan and elected to receive her degree during the NYIT-Abu Dhabi ceremony so that her family, who lives in the region, could attend. President Guiliano warmly congratulated the university’s newest alumni, reminding them to add human connection to today’s technological connectivity.
