In addition to offering an array of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in high-demand fields, our world-renowned faculty are leading the way in groundbreaking research in nutrition, Parkinson's disease, DNA, and the treatment of MRSA.
We prepare our students inside and outside the classroom for careers in the ever-growing fields of clinical nutrition, health sciences, mental health counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician assistant studies.

Congratulations to Stephanie Wilches, class of 2014, who received the 2013 Club of the Year Award for the American Red Cross Club in recognition of their service to NYIT during the 2012-13 academic year. The Student Government Association (SGA), 2013 Leadership Award dinner took place at de Seversky mansion in Old Westbury, Long Island on May 6, 2013.
