East Coast Conference Honors Elaine Brown

Elaine Brown, Ph.D., English Professor and Department Chair, NYIT’s Old Westbury campus, and newly appointed NYIT Faculty Athletic Representative was one of several faculty members honored with the East Coast Conference (ECC) Faculty Appreciation Award at their annual banquet held on May 22nd at NYIT de Seversky Mansion.  The award recognizes instructors and/or administrators nominated by member institutions for having an impact on athletic programs and student-athletes. Assia Lakhlif’s film at Cannes

Assia Lakhlif, adjunct film professor of communication arts, wrote and directed the dramatic narrative film, Daughter, which is part of the short film section at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
