New York Tech President Featured on Podcast
An interview with New York Tech President Henry C. Foley, Ph.D., was featured on Spark: The Innovate Long Island Podcast. Throughout the episode, he reflected on his accomplishments since joining the university as president in 2017, including the introduction of New York Tech’s first Ph.D. programs, increasing enrollment among students of color, and the creation of the Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center (BRIIC) at the Long Island campus, among other examples.
In November 2024, New York Tech’s Board of Trustees announced that President Foley will step down, effective June 30, 2025, with Provost and Executive Vice President Jerry Balentine, D.O., appointed president of the university, beginning July 1.
