June 4, 2018

NYIT alumni are making headlines. On May 23, Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) announced that Vincent Sadusky (M.B.A. ’96) will be the media giant’s next CEO. UCI operates a variety of media properties, including Univision Network, the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast network in the U.S.

Sadusky has spent much of his professional life helping companies realize their growth potential. As CFO and treasurer of Telemundo Communications, he helped the company’s public offering, as well as its sale to NBC in 2001. In 2004, he joined LIN Media as CFO and two years later became president and CEO. He most recently served as CEO of Media General.

About his appointment, Sadusky said, “It’s an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve as CEO of UCI, a company I have long admired for its important mission to serve as a lifeline and advocate for its community, and the strong bonds it has built with its audience. I am eager to work with UCI’s talented team to enhance the Company’s leadership position and underscore its crucial role as a source of news and information. Over the last few months, UCI has taken a number of steps to evolve and thrive in today’s rapidly changing media environment and I am committed to ensuring the Company is in the best position possible to serve its audiences for decades to come.”

In addition to his degree from NYIT, Sadusky has a B.S. from Penn State University.
