News Brief: OT Earns 100% Pass Rate

For the first time in the history of the program, students in NYIT's M.S. in Occupational Therapy program achieved a 100% pass rate on the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). Certification ensures that graduates of the program can go on to successful, gratifying careers as health-care practitioners. Occupational Therapy is a growing profession and practitioners are in high demand around the world. Therapists help patients recover from injuries, overcome disabilities, and live independently and work to improve patients’ physical, social, and emotional skills so they can enjoy their daily activities.
