Almost Sunrise: Movie Screening & Panel Discussion on Moral Injury

New York Tech will be screening the award-winning documentary Almost Sunrise. This film follows two Iraq veterans, Tom Voss and Anthony Anderson, both tormented by depression for years after they returned home and pushed to the edge of suicide. The two embark on an extraordinary journey – a 2,700-mile walk across the country from Wisconsin to California, in order to reflect on their haunting experiences of war and to ultimately, save themselves.
Starting at 5 p.m., there will be a networking opportunity, light refreshments will be served. The film will then promptly start at 6 p.m. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion concerning Moral Injury and the Moral Ambiguities of War.
