NYIT’s New York City campus will serve as location sponsor for the CESTEMER (Cultivating Ensembles in STEM Education and Research) 2019 conference, “The Power of Connection: Performance, Play, and Creativity,” on June 20-22.
Past conference attendees include prominent researchers, scientists, educators, science communicators, artists, performers, philosophers, innovators, learners, storytellers, professionals, and enthusiasts—with different sensibilities and interests in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)—to celebrate the interwoven nature of sciences, technologies, humanities, and arts as human activities. The format is highly interactive: speakers, hands-on sessions, open spaces, and a poster/share fair.
