CRCP Workshop: Job Search Skills (Module #1)

This workshop is module #1 of the Career Readiness Certificate Program (CRCP), aimed toward international graduate students in developing awareness, confidence, skills, and strategies for meaningful career development. The program incorporates the essential career development skills to prepare international students for their first job/internship in their field of study.

In this interactive workshop, you will:

• Understand your employment authorization for on-campus and off-campus jobs.
• Learn how to discuss your immigration status with an employer.
• Gain access to international student resources and materials.
• Explore opportunities to engage both on-campus and off-campus.
• Participate in a real-world project by taking advantage of the Consultants for the Public Good and complete a project in your area of studies.
