Please join NYIT School of Engineering and Computing Sciences for Introduce A Girl to Engineering Day!

Each year, the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences celebrates National Engineering Week by hosting girls ages 12 to 18 to increase their awareness about engineering and to pique their interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. The ultimate goal is to encourage females to consider careers in engineering and computer Science.

The School of Engineering and Computing Sciences would like to extend the invitation and encourage our NYIT community to bring their young family members to this informative and empowering event. We will have a speaker from the technology industry and fun activities facilitated by our student clubs. Activities may include a robots showcase, coding station, snap circuits, human-powered bike blender, drones presentation, motorized paper airplane launcher, 3-D printing, and more.
