Join us on Thursday, April 6, at 12:35 PM as we welcome guest speaker Venerable Burin Thitakusalo.

A Theravada Buddhist Monk from Thailand, Monk Burin is the Executive Director of The Middle Way Meditation Institute (MMI). This New York-based global non-profit organization promotes world peace through research, education, and outreach.

In his presentation, Monk Burin will share how wisdom traditions can help us better achieve integral and sustainable development on our planet, including personal sustainability. After a brief discussion and meditation, participants will be encouraged to ask questions.

This event is co-sponsored by the New York City Campus Behavioral Sciences Club and the New York Tech Libraries. Snacks and warm drinks will be provided.
