Center for Sports Medicine's Beyond the Sidelines Conference
The theme of this year's conference is technology in medicine. Running mechanics expert and certified strength and conditioning specialist Eric Greenberg, D.P.T., assistant professor in the NYIT Department of Physical Therapy, will speak on the role of wearable technologies in running injuries. Joanne Donoghue, Ph.D., Hallie Zwibel, D.O., Melanie Austin-McCain, O.T.D., M.P.A., Mark Gugliotti, D.P.T., and Pamela Karp, M.H.S., will discuss eSports and eSports medicine.
The conference is intended for health-care professionals including physicians, physician assistants, physical/occupational therapists, and athletic trainers who want to learn about the latest advances in sports medicine. Anticipating 6.25 AOA category 1A CME / BOC category A CEU credits / 6.25 NYS Physical Therapy continuing education credits.
