Vancouver Photo Contest

Vancouver Student Life cordially invites you to participate in our Photo Contest. Get ready, grab your camera or phone, and submit your photos to Vancouver.StudentLife@nyit.edu no later than October 13.

Terms and Conditions

Theme: Vancouver scenic beauty. Photos that represent the beauty of Vancouver.

• The contest is open to all current NYIT-Vancouver students.
• Each participant is allowed to submit only one photo.
• Photos can be from places such as Stanley Park, English Bay, Chinatown, the City of Vancouver with natural landscapes, etc.
• Submitted photos can be color or black & white.
• The photo should be original and cannot not have been published elsewhere.
• The best five pictures will be selected.

Submission Method

• Participants must submit their photos via email to vancouver.studentlife@nyit.edu  using their university email address only.
• The submission must be in .jpeg format, with a minimum of 300 dpi and up to 2 MB file size.
• The body of the email must include:
  • Student’s full name
  • Student ID
  • Title and short description of the photo submitted (50 words max)
• The photo must be submitted as an attachment including your name and Student ID (e.g. LastName_FirstName_IDNumber.jpg).
• The judging panel will be comprised of Vancouver faculty and staff members.
• Submission Deadline: October 13, 2019. Photos submitted after this date will not be accepted.
• Winners will be announced by October 31.

Student Life reserves the right to withdraw from the contest any submissions that are not aligned with the above terms and conditions.
