NYITCOM’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) program offers two curricular tracks in the first two years: a faculty-led Lecture-Discussion Based (LDB) systems-based format and a Doctor Patient Continuum, a learner-led, problem-based curriculum. Third- and fourth-year students participate in clinical study in a range of medical facilities.

The Émigré Physicians Program (EPP) is a four-year, full-time medical education program established to retrain émigré physicians born and educated outside of the United States to become Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in the U.S.

The combined Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) / Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Medical and Biological Sciences is a highly competitive seven-year program designed to develop well-trained osteopathic physician-scientists who will, through their research, drive the practice of medicine into the future.

Our highly competitive five-year Academic Medicine Scholars Program, comprising the M.S. in Academic Medicine and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees, prepares you for a career in academic medicine that includes medical education, research, and clinical practice in an academic health care setting.
