In an interview with Globesville, the interactive news and entertainment network for the New York Tech community, Professor of Communication Arts Felisa Kaplan talks about the influence social media has on today’s global society, how its leading to fewer cultural differences, and offers her predictions on what digital devices may look like in the future. “I think we are going to have smaller and smaller devices, including at some point—and this is being studied right now—chips inserted in our body,” she says. “Who knows what is going to happen in 10 to 15 years. I see a lot of changes.”
