Gagna Featured Among Health Care Heroes for 2025

Claude Gagna, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences, is featured among other Health Care Heroes in 2025, as named by Long Island Business News (see page 10).  Twenty-five individuals or organizations are recognized as part of the 2025 Health Care Heroes awards program. Nominations were received from across the region and awardees span 11 categories. Gagna has been recognized for innovation for the groundbreaking diagnostic tool he has developed that uses artificial intelligence to streamline diagnostics and improve patient outcomes.
