Outlets Feature Huey’s Study

During August 2024, research by Assistant Professor of Psychology Melissa Huey, Ph.D., was featured in multiple outlets, including the Washington Post, Psychology Today, and Post and Courier (Charleston, S.C.). Huey’s study, which analyzed the psychological impacts of smartphones in the college classroom, found that found students without their phones had increased course comprehension, improved anxiety, and enhanced mindfulness.
