NYIT Ranked in Top Tier of U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges 2014 Edition

New York and Old Westbury, NY – For the 16th consecutive year, New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) is ranked a top regional university by U.S. News & World Report, and, for the second year in a row, is named among the top 50 universities in the north in the 2014 rankings.

NYIT's current U.S. News ranking reflects positive momentum in areas including student/faculty ratio, an increasing percentage of full-time faculty and average alumni giving rates, among others.

Additionally, NYIT's School of Engineering and Computing Sciences was ranked among the nation's top ABET-accredited engineering schools offering bachelor's or master's degrees.

The rankings will be published in the 2014 Best Colleges guidebook.
