A US-China Eco Partnerships conference organized by New York Institute of Technology and Peking University
On April 17 2014, NYIT and Peking University jointly organized a conference in Beijing addressing “The Water-Energy Nexus: Sustainability and Global Challenges.” The conference brought together some of the world’s foremost experts in the fields of water management and energy conservation. Government officials from both the U.S. and China participated in the conference, along with experts from industry, government agencies, and academia. Together they explored:

Clean Water Matters: Challenges and Research Perspectives (Workshop)
NYIT’s School of Engineering & Computing Sciences and Peking University’s Center for Water Research, in association with Wuhan University’s International School of Software, led an interdisciplinary workshop, which allowed for a broad-based perspective drawing from academia and research scientists, national agencies, foundations, and corporate partners, and focused on the advancement of science and technology. A series of 90-minute sessions included platform presentations and roundtable discussions, and explored the formation of a US-China Water Consortium for Research and Innovation.
