Training Programs: Personal Trainer
Pursue a career in the growing exercise, fitness, personal training, and well-being industries. Upon finishing this 58-hour course, students will receive a certificate of completion from New York Institute of Technology. Classes will be in-person on New York Tech's Long Island campus. This FREE training is valued at $1,800.

- Exercise Science vocabulary
- Fitness anatomy and physiology
- Strengthening upper and lower body
- Flexibility training
- Aerobic capacity training

- Personal fitness programs
- Fitness for the general population
- Health screening, testing, and evaluation
- Leadership skill training
- Legal and ethical issues
This program is part of the New York Tech Healthcare Service Training Project, offering qualified individuals tuition-free training in response to the healthcare needs of the Long Island region. It is supported by a grant from the New York State Department of Labor and the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council (LIREDC).
