Interdisciplinary Studies

NYIT's interdisciplinary studies program offers students the opportunity to put together their own degree program. They can choose three concentrations in different professional and/or liberal arts areas of study and sample a number of academic and professional disciplines. This multifaceted approach encourages a broad-based education built on a progressive core curriculum and enables students the opportunity to tailor a degree to one or several different career fields.

NYIT’s B.S. in Urban Administration is a career-focused undergraduate program designed for students with a passion for cities and the drive to lead them. Located on NYIT’s campus in New York City, the program enables you to take advantage of all that the city has to offer—including unparalleled internships and opportunities to connect with city administrators and government officials. Through a combination of coursework and experiential learning, you’ll graduate prepared for a career in city government or nonprofit administration.
