Fraternity and Sorority Life

Fraternity and Sorority Life at our Long Island campus works with students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and other invested constituents to enhance the development of students through Greek membership. Our staff works with fraternity and sorority members to provide support alongside educational, cultural, and leadership development programs that meet their needs beyond the classroom.

Inter-Fraternity Sorority Council (IFSC)

The Inter-Fraternity Sorority Council (IFSC) is the self-governing body of social fraternities and sororities at the Long Island campus. The council was established as the Greek Letter Council (GLC) in 2005 and was restructured in 2015 as IFSC. It serves as the primary representation of its member organizations to the New York Tech administration and community, promoting higher learning and academic growth, and assisting organizations in upholding their fundamental purpose and ideals.

Alpha Chi Rho is a national men’s collegiate fraternity, whose purpose is to enhance the lifelong intellectual, moral, and social development of our members through the guidance of their landmarks.

Delta Epsilon Psi

Delta Epsilon Psi is a national South Asian interest social and service fraternity, built upon the pillars of brotherhood, discipline, and commitment. The Revered Brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi also pride themselves on philanthropic efforts, especially through large events for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Iota Nu Delta

Iota Nu Delta‘s goal is to bridge the gaps in society—all while promoting South Asian cultural awareness. The brothers of Iota Nu Delta also strive to cultivate the ideals of mind, body, and soul in their everyday lives.

Tau Kappa Epsilon

Tau Kappa Epsilon is a social fraternity founded in 1899. We hold a high regard for scholarship and we have a robust roster of prestigious alumni. Tau Kappa Epsilon creates lifelong relationships that enhance educational, interpersonal, community, and professional success. Our mission is to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life. TKE contributes to the advancement of society through the personal growth of our members and service to others.

Kappa Phi Gamma

Kappa Phi Gamma, Inc.‘s mission is to instill integrity of character and trust as components of personality. We encourage the finding of women in order to strengthen sisterhood. We shall render service to the community and the university, thus supporting the betterment and unification of society. President: Ruchira Bunga, Vice President: Danielle Ongsohu, General Member: Yamini Patel. Our philanthropy is Cancer Awareness.

Sigma Iota Alpha

Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. is a Latina-based sorority devoted to serving our community while fostering a sense of pride and respect for our heritage. The sorority was founded on September 29, 1990, by thirteen inspiring young women from four different schools in the State of New York: SUNY Albany, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY New Paltz, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

As Hermanas of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha Inc., our mission is to uphold the goals set forth by our thirteen founding mothers. We pledge to formalize, cultivate, and foster bonds amongst each other as sisters and abide by respect, trust, communication, professionalism, and accountability.

Sigma Sigma Rho provides service within the South Asian community on campus while promoting and enriching the appreciation of the morals and pillars that the sorority is founded on. The Distinguished Sisters of Sigma Sigma Rho strive to embody their pillars of Sisterhood, Society, and Remembrance.
