About Portals
There are two portals you will use as an admitted New York Tech student—the Admissions Portal and the my.NYIT Portal.
You’ll use the Admissions Portal from the time you submit your deposit until the first day of class to:
- Submit your tuition deposit.
- Register for special events.
- Find out about placement exams, advising appointments, and your class schedule.
- Learn more about your major and potential minors.
- View all of your next steps as an admitted student.
You’ll use the my.NYIT Portal and the Student Service HUB—Your Home for University Business—from the time you have deposited and throughout your time as a New York Tech student to:
- Accept/reject your financial aid award, if applicable.
- Search and register for classes.
- Pay your tuition.
- View holds on your account.
- Access your New York Tech email account.
- Update your personal information.
