With guidance from our expert faculty, students conduct research, work on projects, present at conferences, and excel in competitions to enhance their educational experience. Recent workshops include:

High School Summer Maker Academy

July 8 – July 12

This in-person, weeklong academy is held within New York Tech’s on-campus Maker Spaces and the HIVE, and it will engage 14–18-year-old students in hands-on workshops designed to teach 3-D modeling and printing, laser cutting/engraving, PCB design, Arduino prototyping/coding, and soldering. 

Middle School Summer Maker Academy

July 29 – August 2

This in-person, weeklong academy is held within New York Tech’s on-campus Maker Spaces and the HIVE, and it will engage 10–13-year-old students in hands-on workshops designed to teach laser cutting/engraving, 3-D modeling and printing, and Arduino programming.
