LI Spectrum Sizzle Workshop

Come to the Long Island campus this summer, June 9 at 3 p.m. to June 12 at 2 p.m., for a unique learning opportunity sponsored by National Science Foundation. This workshop, led by College of Engineering and Computing Sciences faculty and invited experts, will explore a range of topics in the wide field of spectrum management and wireless technology, including:
* Radio spectrum policy, proceedings, and rule-making.
* Passive systems, spectrum analysis, and frequency allocations.
* Communication systems, modulation, and coexistence.
* Wireless engineering, including circuits and radar systems.
Breakout sessions will cover graduate school opportunities, current approaches to real-time spectrum sharing, and more. Room and board will be provided.
