Faculty-Led Study Abroad

Give your business education an extra global dimension. Join fellow New York Tech students and School of Management faculty members for a two-week study abroad adventure in India or Germany. Learn about foreign cultures and international business practices—and experience life abroad.

Earn three college credits for BUSIE 410 or BUSIE 700 (Faculty-led Study Abroad Program) and one School of Management Experiential Education point. Undergraduate seniors and M.B.A. students are encouraged to apply.

India

Travel to Delhi for two weeks during winter break and experience the social and business culture of India with New York Tech students and faculty members.

The India program includes:

  • Visa assistance and approvals.
  • Hotel-grade rooms and all meals.
  • Airport pick-up and drop-off and transportation in India.
  • Seminars, lectures, and workshops.
  • Visits to corporate offices, industrial parks, and one-on-one meetings with business leaders and entrepreneurs.
  • Sightseeing places of local and cultural interest.

This study-abroad opportunity is offered in collaboration with the Multinational Business Academy located in Delhi (Noida), India.

Germany

Spend two weeks in Germany during summer break and explore the economic, cultural, and technological elements of Germany while exchanging ideas with other international students.

The Germany program includes:

  • Tuition.
  • Hotel accommodations, including breakfast.
  • Transportation to and from the airport and within Germany.
  • Lectures and workshops with other international students focusing on the European economy.
  • Excursions to Soest, Dortmund, Cologne, Munster, and Berlin.
  • Visits to the Warsteiner Brewery, Hella Company and other local businesses.

This study-abroad opportunity is offered as a joint program with Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Soest, Germany.
