Optional Practical Training
If you’re an international student on an F-1 visa, Optional Practical Training (OPT) gives you a chance to gain vital work experience after graduation. Certain science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields may extend your eligibility to work in the U.S. for 24 months.
