Prepare for the rewarding challenges of 21st-century design. Our Interior Design program cultivates globally engaged, environmentally sensitive designers equipped with intellectual tools, artistic sensibility, and technical proficiency for high-level practice and interdisciplinary engagement.

At New York Tech, our interior design program focuses on the relationship between human performance and the environment. You’ll engage in an innovative mix of studio design projects, profession-specific coursework, community-oriented projects, and field internships. Our curriculum is designed to develop your skills and knowledge through real-world experiences, including study abroad opportunities and interactive ventures with furniture, media, textile, lighting, and other material manufacturers.

With a foundation rooted in interdisciplinary engagement and hands-on technical proficiency, you’ll graduate ready for high-level practice in the dynamic field of interior design.

About the Program

You’ll acquire advanced skills in specifications, modeling, and 3-D visualization while developing your personal design practice through innovative challenges and studies in sustainability, new materials, and more.

Scholarship Awarded to Interior Design Student

Giuliana Grosso is a recipient of the International Interior Design Association New York Chapter’s third annual Hazel Siegel Scholarship.
