The Health Sciences, B.S. degree program at New York Tech melds flexibility with real-world experience, laying the groundwork for graduate studies in occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, and other health-related professions, in addition to entry-level jobs in the healthcare field.

Most courses offer a choice of formats where some or all of the instruction is available online. A two-semester internship is required, delivering real-world experience exploring various health disciplines and improving communication and professional skills. Our skilled faculty of health professionals provide expertise across a variety of disciplines—many are at the forefront of cutting-edge research in local, national, and international contexts.

  • $50 nonrefundable application fee
  • Copies of transcripts for all prior high school and college-level work
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A brief essay on an assigned topic

You may also submit standardized test scores, but they are not required.

New York Tech offers scholarships based on your academic achievements and potential. Most awards are renewable if you continue to meet eligibility requirements, making a significant difference in your total cost of attendance.

International F-1 students who successfully complete this degree program are eligible for an additional 24-month STEM OPT extension to work in the U.S. in an area directly related to their area of study immediately upon completing the customary 12-month post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT)
