Psychology Minor

Program Snapshot

15-16 Credits

Learn how to examine conditions that influence behavior while adding extra value to your degree by getting a strong foundation in psychology concepts, methods, and vocabulary.

Why Minor in Psychology?

Investigate psychology on a theoretical, statistical, and practical level. Begin with an introduction to concepts, methods, and vocabulary, then move on to more advanced topics, such as theories of personality, human development, and abnormal psychology.

Examine conditions that influence an individual’s behavior, and explore issues such as growth and development, learning and thinking, emotions and motivations, personality and assessment, mental health, social interaction, and influence.

A psychology minor adds extra value to any degree, particularly if you’re looking to pursue a career in business, medicine, or any of the behavioral, life, or health sciences. Upon completion of this minor, you will have a solid theoretical base of knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of terms and concepts important to psychology.
