FAQs for Graduate Students
Each program has different admission requirements, although all require you to submit a copy of your university transcripts and proof of degree. If you are an international student from a non-English speaking country, you will also need to submit the English Proficiency test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or DUOLINGO). You may also get an idea of what is required for the program by visiting the Graduate Students Admissions page and selecting the program or programs you are interested in from the “admissions requirements” list. This is updated frequently.
Yes, your application can be reviewed based on copies of documents you have submitted. Remember, any documents you submit are considered copies and once you are accepted, you must submit the final official documents.
For international students, visit the International Graduate Students page to learn more about country-specific requirements.
All application statuses will be updated and released on your application in the Admissions Portal.

The Graduate Scholar Award (GSA) is available to students who have a combined GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale from all prior universities. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship and do not have to do anything additional to apply.
If you are accepted to the Bridge program with a 3.3 or higher CGPA, you are not eligible for the GSA scholarship until you complete the required Bridge program with a 3.3 or higher CGPA. Graduate Admissions will determine if you are eligible to receive the GSA scholarship once you are fully matriculated to the academic program.

With the 3-year Indian bachelor’s degree, you will be automatically placed into the Bridge program, which requires you to take an additional 30 credits on top of the required master’s program credits. Your academic advisor will assist you in determining the specific courses you select. These courses must be all undergraduate courses or a combination of undergraduate coursework along with your graduate prerequisites. Upon completion of these credits, with a minimum 3.0 grade point average, the Bridge program condition will be met. You are required to complete the Bridge portion of your program before you begin your master’s program.
If you believe your 3-year degree is equivalent to a 4-year U.S. bachelor’s degree (required at least 120 credits) or have earned more than 90 credits, we highly recommend you submit an official Course-by-Course Evaluation of the transcripts with all individual semester mark-sheets and the evaluation of the Degree from one of the NACES current members for review. We will re-review your admission condition after we receive the official Evaluation.
