Dean Maria R. Perbellini and the FRIENDS Executive Committee invite you to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and the success of our alumni at the 16th Annual Alumni and FRIENDS Reception on Wednesday, November 20 from 6-9 p.m. at the Garden City Hotel in Garden City, N.Y.
This event provides a great opportunity to network with industry professionals, celebrate success, and inspire and support New York Tech’s students.
Sponsorship dollars go toward the FRIENDS mission of promoting a working relationship between the architecture, construction, and interior design professions and the School of Architecture through the funding of student scholarships, special projects, digital equipment, and conferences.

Transportation and Accommodations
Transportation: Two LIRR train stations are located near The Garden City Hotel–Mineola and Garden City. The Garden City station is directly across the street on Seventh Street. The Mineola station is an approximate 8 minute ride away.
If you are interested in taking a shuttle from the Mineola station to The Garden City Hotel, please contact Kelly Imperial at kelly.imperial@nyit.edu to be added to the list. More information will be provided as it gets closer to the event.
Hotel Room Block: A block of rooms will be available for FRIENDS attendees.
The rate per room, per night is $229 + taxes + $30 facility fee, which covers valet parking, wifi, and hotel amenities ($255.62 total).
Guests have a choice of a Deluxe King or Deluxe double-bedded room. Check in 4 p.m., Check out 11 a.m.
