Data is the new oil, and the best way to mine this new oil is through database management systems (DBMS). These systems run nearly 95 percent of all data in the world today. The tools and applications included within these systems enable data managers to aggregate and manipulate data to provide organizations with the right information at the right time. Microsoft SQL Server is one of the most popular DBMS solutions in use today. Participants will learn the basics of DBMS systems as well as the tools that make data managers so important to organizations around the world.

Welcome to the 2024-2025 Season of New York Tech’s iNTEREST lecture series brought to you from the Entrepreneurship & Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) at the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences.
