Grizzlies’ Day Out

In lieu of the Grizzly Games during Faculty Development Day on March 5, this semester the Office of Student Engagement is treating students to a day out! Join us on a trip to the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and get a pass to the DreamWorks Indoor Waterpark inside the mall, the largest indoor waterpark in the United States!

You will also be given a meal voucher that works for certain meal selections at a variety of restaurants around the mall.

What’s included:

• Bus transportation* from the New York City campus to American Dream (departing at 11 a.m.) if needed (to the first 50 people who claim the tickets).
• Meal voucher for use at specific food vendors around the mall (list will be provided).
• The day will be yours, so enjoy the waterpark as long as you would like, shop around the mall, and take part in other attractions within the mall (at your own personal expense). Re-entry to the waterpark is allowed if you leave for a bit and want to come back.
• All-day pass to the DreamWorks Waterpark (if you are NOT taking the bus you must meet us at the waterpark ticket booth by 11:30 a.m. in order to get your pass).
• The bus will depart the mall to return to New York City at 5:30 p.m.
• The waterpark is open from noon – 5 p.m. on that day.

*If you choose to drive yourself to American Dream, you must meet us at the waterpark ticket booth at 11:30 a.m. to get your waterpark pass. Your price of parking ($5 for the day) WILL NOT be covered by New York Tech.

If the bus fills up, there will be a waiting list available. We will work with students from that list closer to the event date.

The cost is $5, which reserves your spot, whether you are taking the bus or not. This $5 fee is non-refundable.
