Health and Obesity Conference

Licensed healthcare providers, residents, and medical students are invited to attend Advances in Obesity Management: Evaluation, Treatment, and Care, a one-day conference that will bring together healthcare professionals with varying backgrounds from the local area to share their expertise and insights on the latest approaches to obesity management. Topics will include the physiology of hunger and weight, the public health impact of obesity, behavioral interventions, medical and surgical treatments, and nutritional and exercise recommendations. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn practical strategies for improving patient care, with an emphasis on both evaluation and long-term management. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, offering participants a chance to network and collaborate throughout the day.
Attendees will have the option to attend in-person or virtually for this live event.

The $25 registration fee includes conference lectures, breakfast, and lunch. The registration fee is non-refundable after December 1, unless the conference is canceled. Each person registering should complete an individual registration form.
Educational Credits: The New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide continuing medical education to physicians. NYITCOM designates this program for a maximum of 7.00 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity. The AOA designates this blended activity for a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
