
Undergraduate Spectrum Sizzle Workshop

Come to New York Tech’s Long Island campus this summer, June 9–12, for a unique learning opportunity sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). This workshop, led by faculty members from the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences faculty and invited experts, will explore a wide range of topics in the field of spectrum management and wireless technology, including:
- Spectrum policy, proceedings, and rule-making.
- Passive systems, spectrum analysis, and frequency allocations.
- Communication systems, modulation, and coexistence.
- Wireless engineering, including circuits and radar systems.
Breakout sessions will cover graduate school opportunities, current approaches to real-time spectrum sharing, and more.
Participants traveling to the workshop from outside the New York City metropolitan area and located at least 50 miles away from the New York Tech Long Island campus are eligible for complimentary accommodation, including flight or rental , on a first-come, first-served basis, arranged by the New York Institute of Technology. Additionally, complimentary meals will be served to all participants.
Please apply by May 19. Only 40 spots are available. Registration will allow you to join a waiting list if attendance fills.
