NYC Governors Island Trip

Come relax before finals week with a trip to Governors Island, a gem in New York City that is a 172-acre park with stunning views of the New York skyline and Statue of Liberty. Governors Island offers plenty of green space and walking paths, hammocks, slides, public art, and more.
If you choose, you can rent a bike to ride around the island, eat at food trucks, and more (at your own expense).
Student Life will cover subway and ferry fees to get to the island. We will meet on campus at 11:45 a.m., depart by noon and take the 1 p.m. ferry to the island. You are welcome to head back to Manhattan on any ferry in the afternoon, or travel back as a group on the 4 p.m. ferry.
