Parking
New York Tech operates multiple parking lots conveniently located across the Long Island campus. In addition, provides reserved parking spaces for persons with disabilities. All students, faculty, staff, and contractors must have an up-to-date New York Tech parking permit.
On-Campus Shuttle Bus
New York Tech provides shuttle bus service on the Long Island campus during the fall and spring semesters. The shuttle runs in a constant loop around campus Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. (There is no service 11:30 a.m. – noon.)
- The loop begins at Anna Rubin Hall, proceeds to Education Hall, then to the NYIT de Seversky Mansion before returning to Anna Rubin Hall.
- Each trip is approximately 30 minutes.
- Times may vary due to traffic.
Glen Cove Mansion – Long Island Campus Shuttle
Free campus shuttle transportation between Long Island off-campus housing at the Glen Cove Mansion and the Long Island campus is available Monday–Friday, when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.
Hicksville LIRR – Long Island Campus Shuttle
New York Tech is offers free weekday shuttle transportation between the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Hicksville station and the Long Island campus. The shuttle will run Monday–Friday, when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.
To board the shuttle, you will need to present a current and valid New York Tech ID. Seating is prioritized for students. Faculty and staff may ride if there are empty seats after all students have boarded.
Public Transportation
Public transportation to the Long Island campus is available through the Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) bus system. Visit www.nicebus.com for schedules and more information.
