Nursing Simulation Lab
The high-fidelity Nursing Simulation Lab lets nursing students hone their diagnostic skills and learn to administer patient care using real-world instruments and technologies.
Standardized Patient Labs
Trained actors test the diagnostic skills of students in our Standardized Patient Labs.
Activities of Daily Living Lab

Accreditation
New York Institute of Technology has earned accreditation for its Occupational Therapy M.S. and OTD by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Graduates of the occupational therapy master’s program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Successful completion of the exam will result in certification as an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the New York Institute of Technology Physician Assistant Program. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with ARC-PA Standards.
Graduates of the Physician Assistant Studies program are eligible to take the Physician Assistant National Certification Examination (PANCE), administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
New York Tech’s nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Upon graduation, students earning a B.S. in Nursing will be qualified to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing NCLEX-RN licensing exam.
The Department of Physical Therapy and the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at New York Tech are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
All graduates from the program are eligible to take the National Physical Therapy Examination as a step toward licensure.
