Holistic Care for a Culturally Diverse World

At the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at New York Tech, we foster a patient-centered approach, caring for people holistically while respecting their personal beliefs, experiences, and values. This holistic attitude applies whether you’re learning in our classrooms, working in our high-tech labs, or participating in clinical clerkships.

New York Tech’s physician assistant (PA) program provides you with engaging educational experiences to enhance diverse perspectives, emphasize interprofessional practice, and foster a spirit of service. Become a lifelong learner with a commitment to improving the health of our communities and advancing the PA profession.

PAs work in various healthcare settings, from private clinics to major hospitals, with physicians and other providers on healthcare teams. In addition to primary care, you can also specialize in areas such as emergency and internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, dermatology, and other fields. Become a practitioner ready to serve as a valuable member of an integrated, multidisciplinary medical team at New York Tech.

Faculty Voices

As both a practicing PA and an adjunct professor, I am able to see the issues affecting both PA students and fellow PAs. I want to ensure that we are able to practice at the top of our license and provide quality care to the patients we serve.
