Mission

The Department of Family Medicine of New York Tech’s College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to the advancement of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals. This will be achieved through an innovative curriculum, patient centered care, and a faculty dedicated to teaching and research utilizing osteopathic principles and practice. Our department recognizes that human health and illness are directly influenced by biological, psychosocial, cultural, economic, and behavioral factors.

Vision

Our vision is to provide an environment that recognizes the importance of generalist/primary care through education, clinical expertise, and professionalism. We strive to become outstanding educators and compassionate clinicians for the diverse communities that we serve.

Research

Our regionally-, nationally-, and internationally-recognized faculty are working on cutting-edge research projects covering the breadth of the biological and biomedical sciences.
